Explore the New AI Ethics and Society MSc
Join us to explore what this pioneering new programme has to offer
The team at Leeds Institute for Societal Futures, together with students and external partners, have been co‑designing the new AI Ethics and Society MSc - a programme shaped by the people who will study it, teach it, use it and challenge it. This collaborative approach is one of the first of its kind at the University of Leeds. We invited ideas, critiques, provocations and specialist academic insight to build a course that equips future leaders with the critical, creative and ethical capabilities society urgently needs.
Unlike traditional programmes, ours is housed within the Institute rather than a single school or faculty. It is intentionally multidisciplinary — reflecting the complexity of AI’s societal impact, and the diverse expertise required to shape its future. Leeds Institute for Societal Futures is reimagining how programmes are designed, governed and taught, and we’d love to share that journey with you.
